On June 12, 2009, American television stations are required to shut down their current analog broadcasts and broadcast exclusively in the digital format.

If you still have questions, or are concerned about losing local TV stations, visit one of the following Walk-In Centers in Indianapolis:

  • St. Andrew United Methodist Church
    2560 Villa Avenue
    Indianapolis 46203
  • GreenTree at Post Road
    8800 Spoon Drive
    Indianapolis 46219
  • GreenTree at Fort Harrison
    8025 Doubleday Drive
    Indianapolis 46216
Hours for each of these Walk-In Centers will be daily from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. The consumer phone number is 1-866-398-5456.

Your older, analog TV set will not display these broadcasts

You have three options

  1. Buy new digital TV receivers
  2. Hook each older set to cable, satellite or other service
  3. Buy a converter box for each older, analog set (click on "Converter Box Coupons" for special offers)
